there's a couple of postfix fixes in later mailscanner versions. I'd
suggest upgrading to latest and seeing if you can reproduce this.
MailScanners design is such that 'loosing' messages is very very
unlikely. Perhaps turning on some more detialed logging may help as
well (see the "Log nonspam" and other option in MailScanner.conf.
