I'm seeing the same thing on several systems. Their site is quite slow. I
just killed a lot of bdc processes and then ran the update manually. It took
a little over 10 minutes to finish.

As you probably know by now, Julian just posted an update to the BitDefender
update script. I'm installing it but upping the timeout to 20 minutes based
on what I just saw.
