Look at the first lines of /opt/MailScanner/bin/MailScanner:

#!/usr/bin/perl -I/opt/MailScanner/lib
#
#   MailScanner - SMTP E-Mail Virus Scanner

You can symlink /usr/bin/perl to /usr/local/bin/perl if you want.
