Cornish is quite closely related to Welsh which in turn is more
distantly related to Scots and Irish Gaelic.  Welsh is also related to
Breton (spoken in West Brittany (part of France)).  These are all celtic
languages.  But I'm sounding like an expert when really all I am is a
sysadmin whose fiancee is from Wales (hence visits sometimes) and spends
too much time on Google!

Interesting as this is I suggest we stop now since we have gone well
off-topic!
