MailScanner problems

Denis,

  Thanks for the reply.  I tried what you suggested and it didn't work
apparently.  Can I try something else, check a log file for that last
command set?
  It did throw this on the Mailscanner restart "incoming  sendmail:
head: /var/run/sm-client.pid: No such file or directory"
