Has Sophos got slower again?

I haven't had any issues with Sophos recently.  I am using
sophossavi, though.  You should think about doing the same,
I can't think of a reason not to.

15 seconds is a long time for one file, even with sweep.  What's
the load on your box when you're running it?  You've got a
bottleneck somewhere, and since you mentioned you're not
running savi... that's probably it.
