Help! ....We are taking 120k msgs per day and climbing

Ok, I screwed up. I forgot that I was using ensim pro which is very
customize and went about doing what i did below. Then suddenly I am not
getting any mails. I overwrote the sendmail.cf of ensim. For a moment I was
panic. Luckily I have a backup and I copied the old sendmail.cf file and
replace it back within couple hour.

So now, can I just add those statements directly into sendmail.cf file? If
not, why does it need to be generated from sendmail.mc?
