That's about it. You should issue a "killall -HUP sendmail" in order to load
those new settings. If you get an error message *then*, check your setup.

Sorry for this slow response. I was reading about this problem which is
very similar to mine.

 From all the mails regarding this problem, the solution i found is that to
add some script to sendmail.mc file. I would like all you experts to verify
what I did is correct or not. I am very noob.

Here is what i did.

Edited /etc/mail/sendmail.mc

FEATURE(`dnsbl', `sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org', `"550 5.7.1 ACCESS DENIED to
<"$&f"> thru "$&{client_name}" by The Spamhaus SBL+XBL DNSBL ; Please visit
http://www.spamhaus.org/ for more information."')dnl

FEATURE(`dnsbl', `sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org', `"550 5.7.1 ACCESS DENIED to
<"$&f"> thru "$&{client_name}" by The Spamhaus SBL+XBL DNSBL ; Please visit

FEATURE(delay_checks)dnl

I added above three lines.

Then I ran the command below :

  m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf

After running that line, i was back at prompt without any message. Not sure
if the command ran correctly.

Can I know if I did it correctly? Do I need to change any settings in
MailScanner.conf?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
