Why don't you just white list the mail list email address and then you can
use rules to move messages from the list to a separate folder ?  I have to
use Outlook as my client but I would assume you can do the same in yours.

Can it be possbile to put a prefix to the subject of all the mail that
comes for this list? like [MailScanner]  or something along those lines?

It'd make life easier for reading and not having to undelete when I look 3
messages down and realize what i thought was spam, actually got a reply.
