All the other attachment checks cannot be done until the message has been
decoded into its attachments and body (more or less). The virus scanning is
done on the entire batch of messages at once, so selectively removing some
messages from what is scanned is not really possible. So you would gain no
speed at all by not scanning some messages. In fact it would actually slow
it down. So you get all or nothing, there isn't really a way to not scan a
few messages in a batch.
