I've upgraded a number of machines from RH7.3 to Centos 3.3 here recently
and it's been a chore getting MS/SA running again as the perl version
changed.  It took a complete reinstall of MS and it's required RPM's.  Most
of the .src.rpm's had to be rebuilt and force installed.  Have you run in
debug to see if anything is going wrong behind the scenes?
