SpamAssassin slowing down scans

Hi,

   After upgrading my MX to Fedora Core 3, I am not
able to enable SpamAssassin within MailScanner because
it kills the scanning process, increasing the mail
queue rapidly. I didn't make any changes in the
configuration files. I already tried to erase the
database and restart SA bayes from scratch and it
didn't work. Has anyone seen this behaviour already?

Versions of software:

Distro: FC3
Kernel: 2.6.9-1.681_FC3smp
MailScanner: 4.35.11
spamassassin: 3.0.1

PS: I Use the method of TMPFS
