I'm sorry I didn't get that. What as the command? When I do spamd -D --lint I get --lint not recognized. If I do spamd -D I get a bunch of stuff but it seems that things do start ok. What exactlyy am I looking for?

I'm not sure that this has anything to do with it, but I'm getting a bunch of these error messages in the maillog (can't be good):

dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: Connection refused by [127.0.0.1]
