SpamScore Number Instead Of Stars

I am running Mandrake 9.2 and MailScanner 4.24-5 (rpm install).


Whenever I set "SpamScore Number Instead Of Stars" to yes my MailScanner
children all start as 'MailScanner {defunct}' 
However if I change the option to "Spam Score Number Instead Of Stars"
(a space between Spam and Score) all is well and I get spam scores in the
headers.

Is this a know issue?

Also noticed that the init script doesn't clear the sendmail.in.pid,
sendmail.out.pid, and sm-queue.pid file.

I added:
rm -f /var/run/sendmail.in.pid
rm -f /var/run/sendmail.out.pid
rm -f /var/run/sm-queue.pid

just after the removal of the MailScanner.pid command.
Is just my setup or is it also a issue?
