MailScanner & Postfix & empty body & heavy load

Hi.

I was searching the lists about this problem but I haven't found any
satisfying answer. If I try to run "bare" MailScanner (without virus
and spam checking), the error doesn't go away. If I try to send a mail
which has null body (if I try to telnet to server to port 25 and then
when specifying data just typing "." and enter), the MailScanner
floods processor usage:

 1061 postfix   25   0  9460 9460 7384 R 99.1 15.4   7:25.50 MailScanner

If a normal (non-null) mail is sent, everything works OK (also with
virus and spam checking).

What would be the solution to this problem or at least the workaround?
I am using the newest MailScanner (Version 4.20-3 2nd May 2003) and
the newest Postfix (Postfix Version 2.0 Patchlevel 10).

Any hints or solutions are welcome.
