Server dying problems

You've GOT to be kidding!  Linux rocks on Compaq servers.  I run Redhat on
Proliant 1850's, 2500's, 6400's, 6500's and one ML type machine and not ONE
of them has ever given me a problem.  You may have some configuration
problems that are not the fault of Compaq OR Linux.

I'm surprised you are able to run Linux on Compaq

Linux runs like crap on Compaqs, well, at least for me
it has.
