Don,

Routing, a firewall or IPtables is blocking access to your new email
gateway system from the Internet. Your records appear to be OK:

frkl.wnyric.org mail is handled by 20 notes.frkl.wnyric.org.
frkl.wnyric.org mail is handled by 10 filter.frkl.wnyric.org.

This command times out from out site:

# telnet filter.frkl.wnyric.org 25
Trying 168.169.213.243...

This command succeeds from our site:

# telnet notes.frkl.wnyric.org 25
Trying 168.169.147.163...
Connected to notes.frkl.wnyric.org.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 ns_frkl.frkl.wnyric.org ESMTP Service (Lotus Domino Release 5.0.12)
ready at Wed, 20 Aug 2003 07:48:36 -0400

You can't get to port 25 on filter.frkl.wnyric.org from the internet!
Not a MailScanner problem.
