New install MailScanner will not start Fedora 12

Ok good point but here what happened before I went back to Fedora 12
Ubuntu 12.04 - Using the instructions Mailscanner supporting files would
not install and every time I tried to do an aptget -f it would uninstall
Mailscanner and then still fail to install the other programs.
Centos 5 - would not recognize the SCSI Raid system drives on our Dell 2560
Poweredge.
