Hi there --
I recently upgraded MailScanner via the installation package that includes the
ClamAV and SpamAssassin applications.
The package version is install-Clam-0.96.5-SA-3.3.1 that includes version 4.82.6
of the MailScanner program. The operating
system environment is the Fedora Core 7 distribution.
The installation appeared to go by without issue, but whenever I try to start
MailScanner via the /etc/init.d/MailScanner
script, the following output appears on-screen:
Starting MailScanner daemons:
incoming sendmail: [ OK ]
outgoing sendmail: [ OK ]
MailScanner: Can't locate MailScanner/MessageBatch.pm in @INC
(@INC contains: /usr/lib/MailScanner
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 /usr/lib/MailScanner) at /usr/sbin/MailScanner line 103.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sbin/MailScanner line 103.
While the Sendmail application starts, the same cannot be said for the
MailScanner application. I did a search for
a perl module with the name MessageBatch.pm, but I did not find one with that
name. Is there another module of
which MessageBatch is a part of, or is there something else that I need to do in
order to get MailScanner to work?
