Thanks Glenn. What I did in the end was to create a subdomain of the domain 
that I wanted to archive and set up a rule to forward a copy i.e. 
*@domain.co.uk to archive at archive.domain.co.uk and that seems to work. I 
basically wanted to offer my clients an archiving solution should their 
Exchange or whatever go down. This way, they can simply log into the 
subdomain to view their mail.
