You did remember to reload (or restart) MailScanner after changing the
settings? Else they will have no effect before the next child restart
(by default every 4:th hour). Something like "service MailScanner
reload" or possibly "service MailScanner restart" would do the trick.
Also... do listen to Steve Freegards excellent advice on debug info.
