problem with some mail

"locate" as in the command locate? That wouldn't know anything about
what files are really on your filesystem until an updatedb run has
been completed... usually run from cron once/day or once/week... Not
the best tool;-).
Where would  it be delivered normally? Have you made sure it isn't
dropped there? or just ... "misplaced"...?
