Problem seems to be clamav - when I disable virus scanning the system
returns to normal, enabled it and clamscan sucks up all the cpu it can
and the system grinds to a halt... I read somewhere there's an
alternative less cpu intensive way to run clamscan - anyone point me
to the docs please?
