Run spamassassin --lint and see if you still get that (or any others like the 
one below). It's not a critical error.

Well, it sat there for quite a while and then went on with "Have a batch of 1 
message", right? It was just waiting for a message to scan, so this isn't a 
problem. If mail is still not flowing look at your mailscanner.log.
As which user are you running the --debug test?
It seems you are having a problem only with spamassassin and MS itself is 
okay.
