Fedora 10 packaging help required

why not ask on the Fedora devel list? (I assume there is one.)
I mean they should know about the problems their changes create for third
-party packagers. *If nobody speaks up, nobody will listen.* And they 
should also be able to give you the *definitive* guide for solving that 
(at least I would hope so).
