Mailscanner logging to syslog, only partial to mail.log, driving me nuts

I have no memory of doing that, but anything is possible.  

So removing that line, I no longer get the mailscanner entries in syslog,
but not seeing them in mail.log either.  Is there a tag for mailscanner that
I need to add to syslog.conf to get those where I want them?
