You don't have to do that any more, certainly not once you have 
installed a 4.76 version *once*. As of 4.76.12, none of the Perl modules 
get in the way of Perl's updates.

This only appears to happen to CentOS 5.2 systems that have been 
upgraded to 5.3. It does not happen on clean 5.3 installations, I tried 
it. I'll do a clean install on 5.3 with Net::CIDR moved to after bignum, 
BigRat and BigInt and see if it still works okay.

But I still don't see why this is suddenly a problem for you, I have not 
changed the module installation order for a *very* long time.
