MailScanner rulesets lookup table

I have the same request. My users can modify their settings through a
web interface, and I'd like to avoid to have to generate the flat
files everytime they do (many many users).

Could I possibly do something so mailscanner would look into a
database for thoses informations, instead of flat files ?
