MailScanner Custom Add On with PHP

I have searched the MAQ on the Mailscanner wiki and looked for info in 
the manual, etc. I am currently looking fo rmore information on creating 
custom add-ons for Mailscanner. Specifically I am looking at the 
possibility that a custom add on can be created with PHP. I am not even 
sure if MailScanner could pass data to a PHP script.

Any help is appreciated.
