If you are not using exchange 2003 or greater, none of these will work.
You will have to use one of the scripts that pull from AD and create a 
valid_users map.

SMF-SAV is what I see recommended if you don't want to pay for milter-ahead.

You can also do this with mimedefang, although it is like hanging pictures 
with a sledgehammer. Way more tool than is needed. I am going to migrate away
