I've been badly bitten by VMWare, so that's out. No discussion there. It
can't even keep its clock running to time :-(



I've always had that problem with MS virtuals (losing minutes each day and drift too high for ntp to function). So far my VMware one has managed to keep good time. I also have ntpd running on all the virtuals anyway. Its fine as long as its not trying to fight with a time source on the host.
