Errore when I try update perl on centos 4.5

Hello I'm trying to update perl to 5.8.5-36.el4_5.2 version via yum update
My system it's a x86_64 using CentOS release 4.5 (Final)
Mailscanner version is mailscanner-4.58.9-1

Unforntunaly I get this error msg:

Could someone help me ? Please try to use an easy english because it's not
my mother language.

I would like to avoid to re-install mailscanner because this server is
mission critical for us.
