I did not read it careful enough. It actual says package :
"A new version of the MailScanner Package (Current:v2.53 New:v2.56) is
available."
But yes, when it would show the mailscanner version too it would be
convenient to know what changed in the new mailscanner.

Yes, they are all empty.
user : mailnull
group : mail
permissons : drwx------
And there are lot of these dirs.
