I think the msg file format is an Outlook specific file format.  You 
need to find a way to save the messages as plain text files with all the 
headers intact.




Our corporate standard is Outlook, but if I want to check a message, I
forward it to my 'spam at ...' account and then pick it up in Thunderbird. Life
gets easier then!
