MailScanner --lint has the following output:

Read 759 hostnames from the phishing whitelist

Checking for SpamAssassin errors (if you use it)...
Using locktype = posix
Creating hardcoded struct_flock subroutine for linux (Linux-type)
MailScanner.conf says "Virus Scanners = clamav"
Found these virus scanners installed: clamav

MailScanner --debug-sa does not give any output.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Carl

Hi,

What is showing in /var/log/message when MailScanner is started ?
Have you tried running MailScanner --lint ?
Have you tried running MailScanner --debug-sa ?

If you can post this information it will help us to diagnose.

Regards,
