Forgot to add, you will have that problem no mater what OS you use.
also if you have freshly installed, then I suggest and recommend you
rpm -e MailScanner ,then get the source and compile and install, when I 
used RPM based distros, I always did it this way, makes a sinch to upgrade 
and backup/restore.
