Spamassassin speed

Have you run sa-update?

Have you ensured that in /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf

  SpamAssassin Local State Dir=

and checked that when you run

  MailScanner --debug --debug-sa

that the SA rules are being loaded from the correct directory?

e.g. /var/lib/spamassassin/3.002003/updates_spamassassin_org/
