Duplicate messages, first the full, then a blank

You could try in the list archives :-)

Then, try looking at the file locking in Sendmail and if you are  
running 8.13.x (From memory) you need to make sure you are not using  
flock in MailScanner.conf The exact details have been posted a good  
few times already.
