Some mail (up to 7 days old) is stuck in /var/spool/mqueue

Centos comes with sendmail-8.13.x, so I think you need to specify the
posix lock.  I may be wrong, but the default lock may be flock.  Someone
else will surely chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

What does mailq say?
