Mailscanner keeps starting and mail delivers, but Mailscanner not processing mail...

Hi Derek,

I had passed the line:
"m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/mail/sendmail.cf"

My MTA is set in MailScanner.conf as MTA=sendmail

When I telnet on 25 I get the following:
220 gate.spangroup.com.au ESMTP Sendmail 8.13.4/8.13.4; Fri, 7 Jul 2006
16:20:56 +1000

Just to verify, did you run "m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > 
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf" after you commented the line and restart MS?

Also check your "MTA ="  line in your MailScanner.conf and make sure it 
has sendmail listed.

Can you telnet to port 25?
