cyrus-sasl-sql removal?

hi guys,
after installing MS, clamav and spamassassin all works
well. But im seeing some logs on  my /var/log/messages
for auxpropfunct error and sql_select missing. i tried
removing cyrus-sasl-sql and the logs were gone. my
concers is, will MS use this ? or its ok to remove it.
