I have seen this happen on three installations lately and had to disable
all scanning for 500 messages to clear some messages out of the queues.
Once I enabled scanning, processing continued normally.
All three installations were being pounded with dictionary attacks. I
have since started verifying recipient email addresses.

MailScanner seems to be stuck on one of my servers (a new build - FC6,
with the latest SA and MS builds).
The maillog keeps reading: New Batch: Scanning x messages, xxxx bytes
It never actually scans it, nor does it send it through. Any ideas?
