Autoreply

That's a function for your MDA, not MailScanner.

If you *do* set up an autoreply, think about the following:

1. If you indiscriminately autoreply YOU WILL BE MARKED/DEALT WITH AS A
SPAMMER BY MANY PEOPLE/SERVERS/RBL's. This is a matter of policy. For
more info:

http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/329.html

2. If you set it up using tools like the one in Webmin or at
http://vacation.sourceforge.net/
(which BTW just got updated for the first time in 5 years), remember to
set up the program so that it DOESN'T REPLY TO MAILING LISTS (if
possible), and so that IT DOESN'T REPLY TO THE SAME PERSON TWICE IN A
SPECIFIED TIME FRAME, preferably at least a week. That way it's more
difficult for loops to form because of badly misconfigured servers,
programs, sysadmins or users.

You *will* be exposing yourself to abuse, so be very careful about it.
