Some people might actually call that a side-grade ;)

Seriously, clam+bdc (+f-prot, maybe) is probably one of the most 
powerful combinations and - despite some reports of BDC sometimes using 
up a lot of CPU) it's given me 0 problems whatsoever (except for that 
one time bdc had problems updating).
