Hi all
I^Òve installed MailScanner to virus and spam scan emails.
This seems to be working fine for email that is delivered
locally on the server MailScanner is running.
However the server is also an MX for domains for which email
is forwarded onto different final destination servers, these
emails aren^Òt being scanned.
The emails have the following in their headers:
#########
X-MailScanner-Information: Please contact the ISP for more
information
X-MailScanner: Not scanned: please contact your Internet
E-Mail Service Provider for details
X-MailScanner-SpamScore: sss
#########
How can I get MailScanner to scan all port 25 traffic even if
the final destination isn^Òt local?
Looks like you have a ruleset created to not scan mail. What do your logs
say? That might even tell you which ruleset is being used.
