DCC install not going well

Try this:
wget http://www.rhyolite.com/anti-spam/dcc/source/dcc-dccd.tar.Z
uncompress dcc-dccd.tar.Z
tar xf dcc-dccd.tar
cd dcc-dccd-1.x.x/ # the current version number
./configure --disable-dccm # since we don't need milter support
make
make install
vi /var/dcc/dcc_conf
#locate the line stating 'DCCIFD_ENABLE=off' and replace it with 
'DCCIFD_ENABLE=on'.
ln -s /var/dcc/libexec/rcDCC /etc/init.d/DCC
chkconfig --level 3 DCC on
