Very Star Trekkie with the new font.
New and trendie isn't always the best. The old stable logo portrays the
stability and reliability of the software.
IMHO the lightning bolt seems to imply speed, while the shield is more
like what the software does.

The lightning bolt is for Julian, when ROOT speaks!!!
