Exactly.  Which reduces load on the box as sending a message through SA 
takes a lot more resources than MS alone.

Depends on how much control you give your end-users over what is/isn't 
spam -- we allow ours to match the Spam-Score header to determine at 
what value they want to consider a message spam/not spam.
