4.38.7 -- Updated for latest Vexira scanner

I have just released version 4.38.7 (beta).
This is to test the support for the latest version of Vexira.
If you are using the latest Vexira, please do try this out for me. My
own tests have shown it works, but I would like some more evidence from
other people.

Please note that I have had to drop support for the old version of Vexira.
