Thanks Chris, let me give the complete background crisply.

Mail server : MTA - Sendmail, OS - Linux - White Box Enterprise Linux
release 3.0 (Liberation Respin 1)
OS of Tim and Tom : Windows XP
Email Client of Tim and Tom: Microsoft Outlook

Yes. my MTA maillog is saying the status as sent.
One typical maillog

Feb 14 18:53:28 inmail sendmail[19510]: j1EDNO2U019474:
to=<tom at inmail.tranquilmoney.com>, ctladdr=<tim at inmail.tranquilmoney.com>
(644/12), delay=00:00:02, xdelay=00:00:01, mailer=local, pri=210295,
dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent

Some more observations:
1. Initially I suspected SPAM ASSASSIN and stopped usage of SPA ASSASSIN
by "Use SpamAssassin = no"
2. After this mails sent by Tim is reaching Tom.
3. But I am not sure whether stopping spam assassin solved the problem
4. Again the user reported the same problem, and now last week I stopped
scan checking completely "Spam Checks=no"
5. After this mails sent by Tim is reaching Tom.
6. Now I am not sure whether the problem is solved

Hence if I change these two params also, I don't have a measure on
ensuring  whether it works.
Can you guide me? Thanks.

Regards
Devi S.
